installing new dccv hope this isn't a dumb question

i want to flush my radiator not just drain it so should i
flush first then replace dccv or
replace dccv then flush
thanks guys
 
flush first then replace dccv

You don't want to wash any crud into the new valve. Get it all cleaned out first.
