Installed new battery today.

Got the hook up from my local Lincoln dealer and installed the battery myself. Battery is great but I have a problem now.....my mileage counter for my fuel no longer counts down. I had about 50 miles left until empty before changing the battery now its stuck on 9 miles until empty.

Has anyone else had this problem? My analog gauge seems to be right but the electronic counter seems to be miscalculating the fuel left.

Any help is appreciated.

If you don’t have original owners manual, at the top of this page; click on TECH ARTICLE; down on the left side find LINCOLN LS; click on your year owner’s manual or a year near yours and down load.

Owner manual under battery you will find a procedure to reset trim strategies, this should help.

Thanks but I have done all that, hopefully it will just reset when I refill my gas.
