Just seeing if anyone has installed pioneers new avic line of headunits in a LS yet?

Any difference from installing the older avic-d3 models?

they install the same, except for there is a mic you need to run and the i pod cable is a little different, they even bypass the same. IIRC they dont have a speed sensor to hook up, but im not 100% on that

I bought the Avic 90Bt about a month ago and was going to do the install myself but didn't have the time, so I took it to a local Pioneer dealer and man they f&*k my unit up. They come telling me that the RCA outputs were bad. So I sent it back and the technician said it checked out find. I don't know what they did but it made me mad as hell.So when I got it back and took it back it was still making a loud whining noise. So the place that I bought it from just told me to send it back and they are in the process of sending me a new one. I don't think this dam shop knew what they was doing. The installer look like he was out of high school if you ask me and then just by looking at all the electrical tape he used, that showed me the quality of work they do. So When I get my new unit i'm going to take it to either Circuit City or another well known local audio shop. One thing about the to 700 though it don't come with the ipod cable like the F90 does. But if you want more information about these line of units go to www.avic411.com.
