...If I get them installed by a shop? I've good a good amount of play on the passenger side (around 1/2" - 3/4") and need to get this done. I usually work on my car myself, but being in the colder months it's a really busy time of year for me at work, and I just don't want to get stiffed. Not very educated on mechanics shops locally and I know some here have there own shops.

The part will cost you about $40 (that's for a Moog @ Oreilly)
Labor should be around 1.2 × hour rate (not sure on exact , I can look it up tomorrow)
Front end Alignment

Make sure you mention to the tech to remove the safety pin from the bad one before he tries to remove it from the rack.

what other components should be replaced at the same time? sway bars? strut rod bushings? u/l ball joints? just do it ALL since I'm there?

Already replaced strut rod bushings, upper and lower control arms, sway bar endlinks, and sway bar bushings.....all with quality MOOG parts.. just never did the tie rods. This isn't my first rodeo with mn-12/fn-10 cars...;) I've just never done the tie rods...

Tackling this myself now, not so bad, going good so far. Do I use a punch to remove the safety pin from the inner?

You can pluck it out with some wire cutters (that's what I use, but I have a Matco set with an angled head, so it bites in pretty well)

You could use a chisel bit (not a punch) and hit it from the side. However you decide to go about it, you pull it out, not push it in

Thanks for the advice, I did end up using a chisel bit. I had 2 pins in there, that rivet type one and a smaller aluminum one. I got it though. All in all, not too bad of a job, definitely easier than the LCA's. Now I just need to get an alignment Monday and I'll be good to go!
