I'm needing an 03 or newer Jaguar 4.2

it's found in the 03 and up s type, xk8... 04 and up xj8...09 and up xf

i don't need a good engine just the internals...rods and pistons to be exact
i've looked on ebay, craigslist, jaguar forums, dealer wants way too much!!

The 3.9 engine, that is. You'd want the crank to go along with those rods and pistons.

I have seen some complete 4.2s for sale before, but they've always wanted around $4k. I too am curious what you plan on doing with the 4.2 parts.

i already have the crank. i can get the rods and pistons for a grand but i'm trying to find them cheaper first.

Good luck dude, I've been looking for over a year now. I've come to the conclusion that 4.2s are just too rare, too new, and too expensive to find a decent deal on. I haven't found a single one that was being parted out and that's with access to all craigslist ads in the nation as well as ebay.
