I've been looking with no luck...does anyone either know the part number or know where to get the bolts for the ignition coil cover?

Thanks!

Ford's part number is W500202-S309
These are M5 x 12mm. The local parts store probably has this size.

Do you have one---perhaps on the other side---that you can remove and take to a bolt emporium as an example of what you need? As an alternative, leave them off. The COPs run cooler and will last longer. I've not used covers for more than 11 years now.

With the covers off, do you notice more noise?
OK, so coils replaced. The snappy part on one of the clips broke. I barely touched it so it was ready to break as is. I put the connector on the coil and it's on pretty snug. Has anyone come across this before and outside of replacing the connector, what did you do? Would a small drop of something like silicone keep it in place?

Thanks!

Yes, that's not unusual. A little silicone will probably work. What I did was to use a zip tie. You have to loop it in a particular way such that it can't slip off.

Thank you, Joe.

Also, i found 2 different types of coils in the engine. The pics are attached. Is this normal?

Well, it came from the factory with all the same part. They have probably been changed a few times by now. Personally, I'd put eight new Motorcraft coils in and then probably never have to worry about coils again.

Well, there was someone who posted 120K miles on Borg Warner and a local store here has them at a good price and the store warranties them for life. I replaced 7 and I am waiting for # 8 to come in. Should be a few days and then they will be all the same.

Joe, I appreciate your help, sir.

No, but then I have an aftermarket intake tube and cone filter and a catback Magnaflow exhaust system. I think the noise is just right. Noticeable without being intrusive.
