I was on craigslist and I emailed a guy about some heads he had for sale. Now two weeks later we finally worked something out. They are stage II heads I forgot the name on them or who did the machine work (will get the name today when I recieve the email back ). They have comp cams Xtreme energy cam shafts (part number 106160).

What type of performance gain am I looking at here? I know for the price it probably won't be much but I don't mind.

They aren't used. They are new in box (just looked at and out of the box for pictures). Never installed. From Felber racing in florida.

Sell them and buy new ones then? I got all this for $1000, saved me a couple thousand.
It depends.
There is nothing wrong with the power band being pushed up in RPM just remember you need a converter and gears to match it.
Now with that being said.....the higher stall converter you have the less streetable the car becomes.
You need to think of your car as a complete package....and know what you want from it.

+1

If you can sell those cams for some more aggressive grinds I would. Otherwise once it's together get it on a dyno to see what it does and pick a converter/gears accordingly.

And just an FYI in case you didn't know that while those cams are about at the limit of stock valve springs(if you have a 96 or up) you should definitely get new ones. Summit actually has a decent deal for Comp springs.
