So usually I start off with a bit of "what's been done lately" to help out diagnosing the issue. So here goes:

Recently:
--Intake manifold gaskets, IMRC cleaning, throttle body gasket, throttle control bolt in throttle body ( bought one.. it was the vacuum leak I was searching for )
--Also, replaced the fuel filter, and tested the fuel pressure. Everything good there.
--IAC is brand spanking new also.
--Replaced the T connector from the PCM and replaced those vacuum lines. Also I have replaced the vacuum line that goes on the upper intake manifold to the passenger side of the car (don't know what that line is for).

BE AWARE: this was happening before the intake manifold gasket, throttle body gasket, idle control stop were fixed. It has just continued till now.

I have NOT done spark plugs yet (waiting till it's cold and I have plugs) I actually don't know which plugs I should get. I have a tune in the car from reinhart so don't know if I should go with the autolite 103's or the 764's.

Anyway, the car idles fine... it's a bit rough and I'm hoping the spark plugs clean it up a bit. It accelerates fine also but I haven't been at WOT except once before I did the fuel filter. Before doing the fuel filter it felt like there was a stumble at high RPM and since the fuel pressure test came back good I figured it was the fuel filter... so I need to get out there and get on it and see if I can replicate that issue.

Anyway, the problem this thread is about is this: When I am getting off the freeway and am off the accelerator for long periods of time... like I get off the freeway and cruise all the way to the light for the underpass... My car will "romp" ... like... it will continually jump from 1000rpm to 1200rpm and back... it will do it all the way from the freeway to the light. Once I get on the Acc. pedal it will clear up.

I was thinking it's that module that connects to the throttle body but I thought it might be a vacuum leak also.

Anyway, just putting this out there to see if anyone might have an idea as to what it could be. Thanks

Yeah. I've read that before. But the 764s are fine for now. Won't be changing them unless I need to.

I run the crap out of this car and I've never had a problem.

Sounds like you've still got a vac leak...and possibly a bad IAC..just because its New doesn't mean Jose built it correctly

I cleaned the old one out. I'm going to throw it back in there and see how the car acts.
