For a while now, my front passenger side door would not lock or unlock. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not. I'd have to reach over to the door and lock/unlock it my self. I recently bought a new latch from max and after the install it did lock and unlock but the switch wouldn't move. A day after the install I check to see if it's still working properly and know it doesn't lock and i've tried to lock it manually but that did not work either. I hear noises coming from the door when I presslock/unlock button but nothing happens. I need it to at least close because anybody can get in through my front passenger door.
Any suggestions?
