Listed my car on ebay classifieds and it gives you a carfax report for everyone to read.
Now i know more about my car than ever!!! It was driven only 420 miles between 2004 and 2009!!! He said it wasn't driven much, but, damn.
Now i know it needs a fuel pump/filter and the incessant squeak/squeal is most likely the water pump. (had the same problem when i bought my '77 skylark w/42k miles)
Either way, if you really want to know a vehicle history, list the car with a ridiculously high price and then check the carfax and cancel the ad.
Do so at your own risk. I am leaving it up for sale, and if i get $3500 for it, I will be out of Mark VIII's for a while. Now to get the leftover parts off my porch...
