Every day for the past 10 years or so I go to my brother's for lunch to veg in the A/C. So I was on my way back to work yesterday and the little boy that lives across the street got a dirt bike for his birthday ! He's barely big enough to reach his little arms to the throttle. and for the past two summer's head been out side when I go back. He always points his fingers like he has a gun and shoots at me and my brother's tires, never at the windshield. Always at the tires. This kid sees me on route to my LS ,jumps onto his bike and fires it up. I noticed in my mirror that he was waiting on me. When I pulled away IT WAS ON !
I got smoked by a 5 year old!!! Now I wasn't going to go flying down the street but Id bet my last dollar that if I did catch up to him he would have gave that dirt bike all it had. You could tell he's been on one a time ore two but was still a little shaky. It was so cute! I kinds of cashing wait to see what he does tomorrow! Long story but I wanted to share.
 
Hey in the LS's defense 2 stroke dirtbike's are crazy fast lol
 
I had a two stroke sportbike in Japan. Suzuki RGV250. Insanely fast. Redline was 20,000 rpm on a 250cc motorcycle. I totaled it.
 
I just sold my cbr 954 (4 stroke) the other day to pay for my LS restore, I smoked a Nissan GTR this summer with it but he couldn't launch for smack.

Story reminds me of a movie (Better off dead) with John Cusack. The little paperboy that harrasses him because he wants his $2.00 for the newspaper payment. (I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!!!)
 
I was behind two idiots on crotch rockets at a light one time and they are rvving their engines every two seconds so I revved mine back and they turned around like "say what"

And then the light turned green and the one guy zips away, and the other guy not so much, I don't think he knows what a clutch is, so hes going like 15mph then he tries to show off and do a wheelie.. Gotta redeem himself... And then almost eats asphalt...

This is why I hate that sticker "look twice save a life"

It should say "look twice save your damn life"

I've been cut off and and almost hit by more idiots on motorcycles than other cars.
 
well if you want some redemption, tell the kid you want a rematch, this time from a roll, first one to 100mph wins! :shifty:

I totally agree that any bike worth its weight would smoke even the most super of super-cars. But I tell you, those things can launch! AWD and launch control is where it's at. Nothing kills performance like a poor driver :rolleyes:
 
believe me I know, he's got the launch procedure in that GTR down pat now. The G-forces are simply unbelievable. I drove it with full privileges and only managed to bring it 75% WOT as I couldn't comprehend the acceleration.

whatever, he doesn't have an exotic hydraulic fan pump like the LS though.

2002_lincolnLS: I know what you mean about the meaningless revving of the engine's at a stop, If you we're to translate that action into words it's like "hey look at me!!, look!, look!, I'm bad-ass!" it's mostly harleys that do that around here, drives me nuts.


to get back on topic, ShortCircutLS .. I'm sure lil' man will never forget the day he smoked a v8 on the block lol
