I picked it up an hour from home for the price of a lifetime.... I still need a torque converter and possible a few other things. The donor car had 52k miles on it and was in a front end collision.

If anyone has any advice or knowledge to pass on then please let me know. I have done my research but i'm just curious about the different processes and how they worked.

Also I am getting a new torque converter so is there anything else i should go ahead and replace?

Is there a way to test the solenoids?

How do i check the other components just to make sure i'm going to avoid any more damage to the transmission :)

Thank you guys for the forum, its filled with good info. I am glad i decided to register
