sorry but i did the new alternator it was 180 amps and got the optima battery but i didnt change the alt power wire the guy said that i didnt need to because it was big enough to charge a 180 amp and he put a 250 fuse in the fuse thing where the battery box in the back was. is that good ?

13.5V * 180A = Watts
Thaere's your wattage. Out of that you have to take into account all of the electronics onboard. Lights, heater, etc.

3500 Watts and you don't know what a Capacitor (cap) is?

hmmm..
yea i know what a cap is. but the guy said i might not need it. its something called a back cap or something. but nevermind my main concern was, it good for me to keep my stock power wire with a upgraded alt.
