i cringed when i saw this...

At least nothing entered the cabin. You should check out those videos of european (and chinese especially) cars where the whole thing just crumbles up into a flat pile of metal.

OMG... THATS THE CAR IM DRIVNG... now im scared... i dont think im gonna go thru with insurance scam next winter by hitting a tree... **** THAT! wow

Are you kidding me? Dude I feel SAFE in mine now. The passenger cabin doesn't even get touched in that test. The front end is MADE to crumple up like that to absorb impact in an accident.

Actually I'm impressed. It reacted exactly how it was engineered to do so. The passenger compartment was basicly untouched. For all of their quirks, these are amazingly well engineered cars. Think about it 4000lbs, almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution, very high luxury factor, 300-320 hp and 7,000 rpm from a very small 230 cubic inch "Naturally Aspirated" V8 with just an SCT, Exhaust and CAI. Fantastic handling while keeping a very refined ride quality. Not to mention the fact that they are damn good looking. The Lincoln LS is a Badass Frickin' Ride.

i fell in love the first time i saw one. i treat my current one like a baby.

some guy posted on there how he hates domestic cars or something.. You know, that really grinds my gears.. why do u go on youtube look at an acident and make a remark "ill drive a Ls when im 60 or turn black." seriously now.. whats the point? only to be a tard is what i say.. nothing good comes out of that... keep ur hater remarks to yourself and ill buy a luxury american car over a domestic ricer neday.

those ricers may be fast and furious and all.. but i put a lincoln and a honda on the instate at 65 and hit head on and well see who gets their head checked first..

He can have his sleeper imports all he wants, but it isn't worth as much as a Lincoln. That's lady's Honda was most likely totaled. That's a lot of damage done to one spot. If anything happened to the frame, the shop would have to remove the engine and that totals a Honda in an instant. Not to mention that it looks like one of the nicer honda's. That guy's 2002 Civic four banger won't be coming out of a crash like that without a salvage title.

Trust me that car is totaled. A Japanese car does not take a hit on the corner from a 3800lb luxury sedan, and walk away with a straight frame. That's a front door, fender, bumper, headlight, I'm sure some of the suspension parts are bent, the side curtain airbags look like they deployed, which means they have to replace the head liner, and if the bags in the side of the seat deployed they also have to re-cover the seats. Not to mention the cost of the airbags themselves. (Bout $1500 a pop)
