First off im new to site and have purchased a 2000 ls8 with 64k 4 months ago.the car overheated after sitting in traffic. so i pulled over everthing checked out ok so i let it cool down then drove home with the compressor on. after 4 hours in the shop I find out that the hydrolic fan works fine but the problem is the ecu wont tell it ot turn on unless the the compressor is running. so if i drive everwhere with my a/c or defrost the car will never over heat. So the temp sensor was checked under the intake manifold. which i was told is working fine along with the soliniods the only problem is when the car i stopped and needs the fan turned on the ecu wont tell it to. Any help please?
