Hydro something??? Dipping?

I know some members have some other show cars and such and I was wondering if anyone has ever done this before:http://www.patterntek.com/

Its some kind of dipping process that brings many cool looks from painted carbon fiber to wood grains in many colors and styles.


I don't want to just get the tape on crap cause I know with in some time its gunna peel and well I know its only just a type of tape. But, I do want some parts done in a nice cherry wood orrrr something wood just not everything that comes in those kits and somethings that don't come in those kits.


Take a look into the gallery and tell me what you think. Somethings are a bit outlandish like burl wood engine covers and such but somethings like the painted carbon fiber with the weave design are pretty cool.
