Hydraulic pump replacement

Ok, got my new pump and am going to replace the old leaky one, any words of wisdom from owners who have changed pumps? thanks ahead of time!

Does the new pump come with a new teflon "O" ring that goes on the hose end? If not make sure you get one. Also they need a special tappered tool that allows it to stretch over threads.

Also please have the correct pulley puller, the split clam shell style. Also nice to have a minivac and rubber plug to go on reservior to vacumm out air. Also what I do is apply vacumm and at same time use 90 degree drill with hex that plugs into pump to run pump. So then primed and blead before start. But I also vacumm it down on start up.
