I got my F90BT installed over the weekend, and ended up bugging the poor dude way more than I should have. He helped me out a ton, and I think I'd still be at it if it wasn't for all of his help.

Once I got everything done, I found that I had ran the battery too far down and the car started doing some really weird stuff - was almost ready to call an exorcist, but 1LoudLS was able set me straight on what these LS' do when they don't have enough juice. I don't know if there are other cars out there that behave similarly, but I have never heard or seen a car do some of what mine did when the battery was almost dead.

I'll be posting install pics and lessons learned in the F90 install thread.

1LoudLS, you rock! Thanks for helping an LS newbie out!!

Heh, did that just this weekend while working on the 06 (stock 650CCA Motorcraft batt). Had to jump start the sucker and then it was fine. Picking up a float charger today to pull it back up.

your very welcome bro,

i'm glad that it was a battery problem after all. If those things are low at all, the car just acts so F'ed up. was there any fuses that where blown or was the battery just that low?

dont worry, when you go to do your sub later, it will go much much more smoothly and faster

No fuses went cablooey - it was just the battery being an inch from flatlining. When I moved the negative cable from the metal ground directly to the battery terminal, the lights came back on and within 15 minutes I had a running LS again.
