HU INSTALLED, but problems with lights!!

well i finally got my kenwood double din HU installed and working now! but to my suprise after a couple of hours of driving one of my HID's is not working i check the bulb to see if went out but its fine. seams to be the ballast. i then put a regular 9006 bulb on there and sure enough it burns out. i took the car to my friends house to try to take out my fog lights that were previously not working(LSE BODY KIT) he said lets check the fuses and of course the fuse was bad so he replaced it and gave me an extra one, i drove home happy but with only one headlight lol. anyways i wash my car turn it on and what do u know they dont work again.. i go to the fuse box and replace it again. the fog lights turn on for about a min then they went off.... what the heck is going on??? do u guys think it might be an install issue from the people that put in my stereo? or am i trying to find a scapegoat lol this all seamed to have happend right after the install?? also do u all know what all the fuses are for? and where are the other boxes located? dont have a manual

Sorry I can't be of much help, I don't know too much about the LS electrical system. You can however find the manual for your year LS at the top of the forum.

you know they might've taped into one of your fuse with a positive wire. go back to where they installed it and ask them to do it properly. they were probably just trying to cut a few corners.
