How do you reset your computer in your mark?? and once you get it running is there anything special to do?? My car is a 94, the ford service manual and owners manual don't say anything :(

why are you trying to reset the PCM?

If you disconnect the battery, for a couple of hours.. it'll clear out the memory in the PCM.

After you restart it, drive the car like normal.
No need to beat the piss out of it, to try and MAKE it learn something that it'll learn on it's own in good time.

just reset it, drive it...

I was told if you take the terminals off the battery completely and touch them together it kills any voltage left over. That way you dont have to wait for ever. I know at chevrolet, we used to do this to reset the BCM's for warrenty purposes.

That is correct.

but people usually "freak out" when you tell them to touch the battery cables together, lol.. so I digress.

I've used the above technique many times.
Remove BOTH battery cables from the battery, then touch the two terminal ends together..WALA... PCM memory cleared.

You could also just disconnect the neg. lead and step on the brake pedal, That's what I usually do.
