How do I know if my LS is Sport

Checked the forums

Ok, I checked the other forums and I have all leather steering wheel, leather shifter, 17" rims and a V8, so I'm going to assume that I have the sport version. My questions is about the lower ball joints. Euromarque is selling press in lower ball joints and guarantees them for 12months. Are the lower ball joints the same on both non-sport and sport models.

You do have the sport model. Easiest way to tell is that the non-sport has a chrome trim on the bumpers. I would doubt the the ball joints are different, but do not hold me to it. Wait for someone with a sure answer chimes in.

If you have SST then I believe you have the Sport model.

AFAIK, the only different ball joints were on the early '00s, and they were replaced (or supposed to be replaced) under a recall. The only differences between the Sport and non-Sport suspensions are the shocks and sway bars.

Just because you have the chrome trim on the bumpers doesn't mean that it is a non-sport. Mine has the chrome trim on the bumpers and has the sport package with the upgraded suspension, wheels, and advanctrac system which not many LS's have. It all depends on what options your LS was made with because you can have all kinds of crazy combinations. I have yet to see(in person) another LS that had all the same options that mine has(I know they have some just not many).

Hey Everyone i Have A 2000 Lincoln LS. And When I Switch From Automatic
Shifting to SST Shifting. It Goes To SST2 And Not SST 1 What Could B This
Be The Cause Of..... :(

This is what happens when you use SST, nothing is wrong with your car. If you stomp the gas will down shift into SST1.
