Guys,

My steering sounds like its straining a lot when i try to turn. I checked the PS fluid level and it is good but the fluid itself looks like hot chocolate! i am thinking it needs to be changed but I dont even know where the drain plug is. Can anyone provide an idiots guide to this puzzle - pictures would be great, thanks :-)

There is no drain plug.

I got this think at Wal-Mart for about $5.
Just stick it in the tank and suck it out.

Wow - no freekin way - its a good job i asked because there are two large nuts under the steering rack and I wasgetting ready to crack one of them to see what came out...

Thanks for your help - so I guess everyone seems to be using mercon five or mobil 1 - when they are talking about flushing, I am assuming that just means repeated fluid changes by sucking it out ofthe resevoir...right...?

Thanks again...
