Hopefully small oil leak question

Can someone tell me what that is exactly and should that tape be there? It seems to be leaking from right there.

Take the tape off of it because it does not look like it is suppose to be there unless it is covering up a mess underneath.

Anyone know what this hose is exactly and if it is easily replaced? I'm placing an order for parts and would like to get everything at once so if anyone could help me out that would be cool.

We need specs on the car and a little farther away pic would help. Follow the line back and see where it goes

The hose with the tape on it looks like one of the AC refrigerant hoses. The source of the leak is somewhere higher than that. You can see that the hose above it is wet with oil or power steering or transmission fluid. The leak might yet be higher than that.

The hose runs along the top end of the oil pan (engine side). Specs are in my sig but 02 V6 with about 118k. And it was hard enough taking that pic laying under the car with the front end jacked up lol.
