High Wattage Bulbs/Xenons/HID's

I am running Hi's in my 01 fogs for a couple months now without problems (pics in my gallery), I like having more light (duuuh) and I feel it "balances" the front end (if that makes sense to anyone) and leave them on whenever the lows kick in at dusk. Been blinded :shifty: too many times to care about people who can't drive worth %#@ anyway

Get your story strait bro. you say you dont want "cheap chinese crap" for $120 but your looking at HID that are barely over $100????

I wasnt telling you to do somthing I HAVENT done b/c I got some 9145 3Ks from here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...RK:MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=150107030134&rd=1,1

I am happy with them the ballasts are about 3"L,1.5"W and less than .5" thick. I also have a digital kit from LSK retail is like $450 the ballasts are probably very close the same size.true the xentronic kit IS better and faster the "cheap chinese crap" kit works well. I may sound mad but Im not just watch your words..Dont say one thing isnt good enough for you when you know little to nothing about it and THEN do exactly what you bashed. good luck with you purchace.

people have a change of heart, i think that yeah it is cheap korean, japanese, chinese crap whatever you want to call it. but if its cheap then hey its easily replaceable should something go wrong, not throwing a ton of money down the toilet.....or buying 5 different bulbs and experimenting with which ones work waiting days for them to come inthe mail. for one low price i can have my cake and eat it too until it runs out, then i can buy another cake and another and so on. i do shop around a lot. just like on lskoncepts Ken charges $134.95 for an 03-06 KKM intake + $10 shipping when on KKM's Ebay store you can get it for 119.94 + 14.21 shipping....almost $10 less?? I dont see any more guarantees for the xetronic than i do the cheapo crap, all i see is crafty wording and advertising. maybe if someone can physically prove its worth paying 200 more then id get them.

i dont want to spend 350 or whatever on the xetronic when people i personally know have bought the exact ones i just posted and say they are great too and last a decent amount of time

that is after all why i started this thread to get opinions and have people change my mind

Typical HID's should last about 5 years. The kits made in China last around 3 years. The JDM kits like Xetronic will last 5 years since they are made in Japan. I had the Xetronic kit in my LS for almost 4 years before it was sold. I will say this, I wouldn't sell it if it wasn't good enough to put on my car. Danny, gt95coupe, has the best kit Xetronic sells. I have that exact same kit in the Nissan Pathfinder I am driving now. The kit is well worth what you pay for it. Also, Xetronic warranties their product too.

There is an old saying, you get what you pay for.

Also, I have never said we were the lowest price place on the internet. However, you can save more than that if you become an LvC Gold Member with 10% off anything in our store. Something to think about if you want the real good deals.

i understand, i wasnt trying to knock your store you have a lot of great stuff and as soon as i get to what i want to do ill be buying from you. for me $100 is enough for 3 years since they will only go in my fogs which i dont use that often which is why i had the change of heart about the "cheap chinese crap" even though these are warrantied for a year.....i will probably order them within the week and install asap. if anyone wants to see pics ill gladly post them in this thread. thankyou all for your help. you all answered every question i had and i feel i am making a better, smarter for decision thanks to all of you

The xentronic kit is FAR better than then one im my fogs. The only reason I didnt buy two is that I didnt have $800+ dollars to spend on HID kits so I took the gamble with the cheapos.

well yeah thats one of my reaons for the cheapos, i already have hid's in my lows i only need these for my fogs which i dont use as much, more for better visibility when i need it and for cosmetics
