HID Projector Retrofit

I am new to this so forgive me for my ignorance. I currently own a 2005 Lincoln LS V8. I recently had a 6000k HID kit installed. They suck! I've been put on to retrofit HID projectors, but I haven't found any info in regards to my vehicle. Is this possible for a Lincoln LS? I did see however, some prices startiing from $700 upwards of over $1000. Is this retrofit that expensive? What parts do i need to provide? Can someone do a complete setup to include the projectors, shrouds, ignitor, ballasts and bulbs? any help would be appreciated.

there are a few people that have done it themselves on this forum. There are posts telling exactly what they did. Just search 'projector'

I have not the aptitude nor the patience to do it myself (lol), but I do realize it will cost an arm and a leg for someone to do it for me. So, what are we talking?

I have a set of cadillac xlr headlight projectors complete for sale I bought right before christmas for 250. I was going to install them in my fog light but there is not enough room behind the fog light. I can barely get the bulb out thats in there right now. I am selling for 170.
