hi all, my name is drew . 52 yrs old , retired in southwest fla . just purchased mt first Lincoln it is a 2000 continental with 134000 miles . i think its in relatively good shape . 2 questions the first being of most importance . can anyone give me any tips on replacing the rack and pinion ? any hints would be helpfull. and the second , when the rear driver side door is open the interior lights do not come on , and it does not register on the dash info center . i'm assuming the door switch but i cant find the switch . all of the other doors activate the int. lights correctly . i have not done any mods and to the best of my knowledge there have been no mods done every thing is factory . i was told by a mech i took it to that the rack has been replaced in the past as well as the rear air suspension. any help would be great , thanks drew
