hesitation on warm up.

before it reaches operatring temp it tends to hesitate on light acceleration sometimes. not major but noticeable. could be a misfire but not sure. it has new autolite 764's gapped to spec as of 500 miles ago. it has a tune and ever since i installed it (tune) last summer sometimes the cats smell like eggs when i floor it, and i get 13 mpg unlike the 22-26 (city,highway) i got before..

prior to the tune my pass side imrc was stuck open and still is.

im going to re-install the stock tune to see if it cures it but is there any reason why it would do what it does?

That imrc being stuck open might be causing a problem. whats wrong with it?

You need to fix the IMRC first...

The first winter i stored it i wasnt able to start it for awhile cuase i had the blend door to do and other things.im thinking 2 months. i think thats what did it.

well i put alittle more preasure on the pass side imrc control and it broke free. as far as i can tell the hesttion is gone.

Run like 3 or 4 cans of Seafoam through that thing...

i've ran about 3 cans since i've owned it and did a half can 2 weeks ago.
