hesitation... getting worse

last week i noticed my car hesitate during slow acceleration about 40 mph. thought it was wierd. not a "full on jerk" but definitely noticeable. didnt do it for a day or so after that. have went thru two tank fulls and on the first tank put in some octane booster. we only have 91 here in wisconsin. but that didnt help. it has been getting progressively more frequent. it does it most noticeably at lower rpms and in 2nd 3rd and 4th. seems to have started in 4th and is maybe just more noticeable to me now. a few weeks ago i noticed a sulfer smell so i got new o2 sensors to put in tomorrow but i dont know if this could be caused by that?kinda worried its not. what could it be? coil? tranny? please help.

Mine is doing that too, however my CEL just came on and it is giving me the code to replace both of mine oxygen sensors that go before the cats. Hope this helps.

plugs, wire and maybe coil's if the first two arent the cure.

The sulfer smell is just the cats getting old, the o2 might work for now but you will have to remove or replace them some time.
