Ok, I cleaned and re-oiled my KKM filter last night. Today when I went to start it the car tried to start then died. I've tried 2 more times now it won't do anything. What could I have possibly done?

You may have left too much oil in the filter and the engine can't breathe. Also make sure you connected back up the MAF connector and anything else you disconnected.

Yeah I didn't disconnect anything...just the 4 screws holding the filter in place. So too much oil...hmmm. so do I need to re wash it?

Don't re-wash it, clean the MAF with some electrical contact cleaner. The oil from the filter got on the element and is screwing it up.

Hey I just checked the element and it's bone dry.

Since emailing you back and forth I have come to the conclusion that it may be the fuel pump.

REally, just all of a sudden?

Update

Had the car towed to the dealer because it wouldn't start. As I'm leaving the dealer I see a Tech guy start my car and pull it around to the back of the building...there was tons and tons of white smoke coming out of the tailpipes. What do you guys think it is?

dont know if this can happen on the LS, but on my 300ZXTT, my power brake booster was leaking brake fluid into the vacuum line and my car looked like a truck with a mosquito fogger on the back of it. It was nuts. Radiator coolant also burn white too.
