Good evening,

I have a 2003 LTC Exec (current body style). The power window switch on the drivers door (all 4 and window lock) is on it's last legs. I have already purchased the replacement part; however, I'm not sure how to replace it. It appears that the woodgrain cover can be removed and then the current switch unplugged and the new one plugged in. Just to clarify, I have no auto repair experience, so what appears possible to me may not be the case. I'm a Paramedic and my skills don't nessesarily transfer to my current car situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Just a note: I love my Town Car
Thanks for any help you can provide,

Done

My window switch replacement is complete.
The dealer quoted me $156.37 and $ 43.50 in labor to replace, total $199.87.
Found a new switch part on an ebay parts store " bbautoparts "
The new switch part was purchased for $ 61.95, including shipping.
The window switch panel (this is the large top peice that includes all of the switch parts for the mirrors, locks, and windows) has two clips, one on each end, there are none along the sides.
Harnesses unplug with their own clip each, easily done.
The switch part is removed from the underside of the switch panel where it secured with 4 clips, 2 on each side.
New one pops right in, plug it in and secure.
Mission complete for $61.95, saving $137.92.

Hope this information is helpful to someone.

Thanks,
Scott
