HELP Valve Cover Wont Come off

Ok so I finally got around to doing the drivers side gasket seals but I can't get the valve cover off of the block. I undid all of the bolts, pulled all the plastic clips out, undid the fuel line, everything it says to do but it acts as if its still bolted, and I know for a fact it isn't because I've checked everywhere. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have ideas to get it off?

Will the spark plugs hold it on? I don't recall and you didn't say if you had removed them or not.

Usually once everything is undone you have to bump the corner of valve covers to knock them loose. I usually pop them with the base of the palm of my hand.

It should pop right off. Count the bolts you took out, there should be about 12 around the outside edge of the valve cover, and 3 down in the middle between the coils. Not counting the 8 that hold the coil shield on.
