Up front Don, near the front strut rod mount there should be a ~ 1/4" hole facing the ground. It needs drilled out to 1/2". Loosely bolt each brace there first, then bolt to the engine cradle using the oblong hole. Adjust for and aft as needed. Bolt the subframe (loose brackets) to the brace and locate where you want it on the subframe. Take a black marker and outline where it lays on the subframe. Unbolt the subframe brackets and clean up the area where you marked with a grinder (to clean metal) and prep the subframe brackets for welding.

Did you have any issues with the IRS bracket?

Hope this helps, Bob

Thanks Bob, I wanted a link to send him that explained it and this is great. I had already sent him a link to your add in the for sale section. The only issue with the IRS was my custom 2 1/2" exhaust. But thats solved. Thanks again. PS this front brace looks like it serves the purpose of two braces from SCP. the engine cradle brace and the front suspension brace ?

Correct. I've combined those into a single, and IMHO better brace.

No, thank you. Cheers, Bob

Any need for sub frame connectors

I saw these on TCCOA in it is a sub frame connector. I thought Marks and Thunderbirds didnt need such ?
