Hello everybody I just bought my lincoln LS so I figured I better join the Forum after reading it was one of the top ten cars never to buy. well so far it is living up to it. My name is Jason by the way and I want to thank anyone who helps me out here.
So I have a 2004 LS v6 shortly after I bought it i got a check engine light and the wrench in the corner I took it to a shop and 600 dollars later I have new coil boots and plugs. check engine light is now gone and the downward spirl starts. in one day this is what has happened.
1 A/C stop working the heat works fine and there is a creaking noise like an old person standing up under the dash when i shut it off or turn it on.
2. service parking brake lamp comes on randomly
3. at 50-60 mph the car seems to get stuck and can not decide what gear to be in however it only does this if you drive it normally, if you drive it like you stole it the car has no problem at these speeds.
all of this happened at the same time and I dont know where to begin other than my wallet and I really dont want to start there
