Help My Stupidity Please

Talking on the phone I put water into the Power steering section instead of the windshield washer,so my question is what fluid do I need to replace it with,any power steering fluid,or special ford one?and how where is the pump located,i cant find it even following the hose.

Did you start it after putting the water in? If, not you should be able to pump out the offending liquid, and a little (talking tiny amount here) residue will boil out. How much water did you put in? Was it really water or windshield fluid?
Ford uses ATF in the power steering. I use Mobil 1 ATF.
the pump is tucked under the front of the motor.
