Help Lincoln people

Okay so Iam looking to buy a used lincoln LS probably 2003 but first I had a few questions.

Iam looking to get a 3.0L V6 Black 2003 Lincoln LS and the question that I had was is it true that the V8 engines on the LS's are more reliable and less likely to brake down on you then the V6 engeins?
