Ok so heres the thing... I want to buy an Ipod Adapter that goes as an AUX in the OEM Radio...but the one that crutchfield.com Sales tells me that i have to eliminate my factory In-Dash CD Changer :( and that is something im not going to let happen. Please tell me what other brand i should check before buying...

Thanks

P.S If you can post pics of some of them installed please post them...

Thanks again

if you have a cd changer built into the head unit, i suspect you will not lose it this applies to the cd changer in the glove box per say, since you arent physically disconnecting the cd changer from the head unit for it to work properly. then the downside is you in fact need cd changer controls or do you have a SAT button? if so then you should be able to get it to work with the SAT button and SAT controls.

He has a 1st Gen LS, so there's no SAT button. I think Quik has one of the PIE iPod adapters in his car, so maybe he can speak to this more authoritatively, but my understanding is that the PIE adapter for aserrano's LS will replace the external CD changer (ie, the one in the glovebox or trunk), not the one in the head unit.

I have one of those PIE AUX adapters. Works great and is easy to install. I can't speak about the ipod one but the regular FRDN-AUX that gives you a set of RCA inputs works wonderful.

Ok Guys!! I saw the PIE site and the LS uses a 20-pin connector instead of the regular ford that uses 16-pin connector. I'm almost ready to order mine from the PIE Site but need Quicks advise...
