First off id like to say thanks to all for foruming together it makes a great car greater.i bought this 98 mark 8 off the ebay and drove out to pick her up (my wife and i drove a driveaway from LA.to boston and we pickup our 8 out there)im now driving her back home to southern utah.i hadn't got far as of yet for one the IDLE ups 3oo or so rpms and down again.it makes parking a new adventure ! yesterday i got real brave or stupid and took her to ford they put her on the machine and like always they want their share and after 159.00 they told me that with a few more hours they MIGHT be nearer the fix.i now remember never tell them your from out of town.here is what they know now (po301 and po411)faulty ignition coil cyl#1 and secondary air injection system.the first one wouldn't hurt the idle and the second one thats the just let us have it for aday or so BS they give the out of town,its also stange but after leaving it runs s--ter then before .please can anyone help me think of away to fix this mike
