help fan trouble 2005 ls

2005 lincoln ls v6 single cooling fan on radiator is not staying on. The fan will come on if the ac is on for 15 sec. intervals. The car has been getting hot on me . So far I have changed the water pump and the fan switch located on the motor by the power steering pump cleaned the radiator, i have purged air out of the system several times. Is this a dual speed fan? Which relay will it be please help. Dont have owners manual.

It is an electronically controlled variable speed fan. Most likely the problem is with the fan assembly itself.
The Ford specific scan tool can run a KOEO diagnostic test that includes electric fan function.
