Ok, my car is up on ramps and I cant find the drain plug for my 02 v-6. Can someone plz tell me were is it located. thanks.

On the passenger side of the oil pan. I think it was like a 13 or 14 mm wrench maybe. The plug itself is not on the bottom of the pan, the lowest point on the side of the pan. Go at it from behind the passenger side front wheel. Hope you have 7 quarts of oil if your changing the filter. :Beer

Daaaaaaammmmnnnn! 7 quarts for the V6?!?!?!?! The V8 only takes 5.5 quarts!
The '03 and newer V8s take 6.5 quarts, supposedly thanks to the oil cooler and VVT. At least I don't need a 50-gallon drum like the PowerStroke guys do (even the 6.0L PowerStrokes use almost 20 quarts).mholhut said:

I use to own 7.3 PSD it took 16, and I put synthetic in it!! lol
