I started my car this morning and my ABS light stayed on.....So I turned the car off and turned it back on and nothing was there. So I get going down the road the light comes on again, so i'm like wtf? Then the ADVANCETRAK light comes on and I look at the button and it's lit up that it's off. Like I cant turn it back on. So I'm REALLY confused. So after work I jump in to go home and the same two lights come on, only this time 2 miles down the road, the parking brake light comes on.....??? I'm REALLY CONFUSED to whats going on. It's an 02 LS sport with 70k. Anyone have any suggestions???? Thanks

Hey I have the same problem!! it first started when i turned my subs up to loud my ABS ligght would come on then it says traction control but as soon as i turned my car off and back on it went off. Now for some reason the only time it tends to do it is when i put my car in reverse lol its weird.. if you find out whats wrong plz let me know

I have had this happen after I let my battery run dead. went away after 2 starts. other than that I'd suggest checking wheel speed sensors.

WOW, beaups. That's what it is. I took it to my buddy who hooked it up to the machine and it said "front left wheel speed sensor". So I called autozone and they can't get it. Called lincoln and they can but there is two different kinds. I don't know how to find out what type I have. They said it's a "bolt on" or a "snap on". The price difference is one is 20 bux and one is 90 bux. Is there a place online I can find for cheaper too? Also, how do I tell which one I need? How hard is it to install? Thanks

Oh yea, it's an 02 LS sport.
Thanks
Keith

FordPartsNetwork lists one for the front, and a left and right for the rear. $61 for the front, $55 for the rears.

I never looked at the sensor, but my guess it wouldn't be to difficult and it's probably the bolt on one. If I were home, I'd look it up on the Service CD for you.

alldata says 0.6 hours labor for the sensor. sounds pretty easy
