help! 96 town car climate issues

hey in case your wondering this is lincolnjlincoln i just lost all my info.

ok here is the problem i have a 1996 lincoln town car signature series a few months ago air started to blow out of all the vent but more particulary the ac vents ok well i replaced the "controler" for lack of proper terminology and nothing still blows out everywhere any thoughts?
btw can anyone tell me why the town car forum no longer shows up on the main page jw.

Did you replace the ac head unit with one from the same year??

My father had similar issues with a '97 and we replaced the ac control unit with one from the same year and it did the same thing; it would blow heat from 60 degrees all the way up to 90. We had to replace it with an older one for his ac to work.

no the problem is not wit hot or cold it is that i dont have control over where the air blows eg. i push for floor but the air still blows out the front vents the only way i can do anything is to turn each vent off seperately and then still the air blows out everywhere else

sounds like bad fuses, or still try replacing with a different year control unit.
