hi everyone
i just picked up my first lincoln mark8 yesterday. its a 97 model. just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. im don from sugarland TX. 2 days of the mark and im already lovin it! btw, the guy i bought it from was a member of this site, thats why it has the LVC sticker on it.

i just know of a few things the last owner did. he told me me he replaced both HIDS and tail LEDS. he also said something about taking out the air ride and replacing it with a spring suspention system. it looks like its lower than factory,still rides really nice. i dont have any plans for it yet, i bought it to teach my gf hwo to drive and i figured it would be a good safe car for her to learn but now im really liking it and i dont want her to damage it.lol. this morning i cleaned the throttle body out, the gas pedal was kinda hard to push, now its nice and smooth. any recommendations on things i should look for? as of now it seems like i need to repalce the door locks, they move really slow and sometimes it wont lock.


edit: i just remembered, he also got all new front suspention parts. and did true dual exhast with flows.
