Howdy,
Well as much as I like the headlights on my LS I think it could stand for improvement and some other oddball because its me things. Anyway, I was reading the E46 HID upgrade stories and I like the look and preformance. Oddly enough I think Angel eyes are stupid so I can skip that part of the upgrade. If they function as bi-xenons and have high and low beams what is to stop you from wiring up the old highbeam light in the inner most position with a bulb swap to a Daytime Running Light? I like the DRLs for safety and insurance reasons and with a compound bulb in the center position it would be perfect. Has anyone put together a complete guide to building the E46 HIDs with full protection for the entire unit and wiring for the bi-xenon part and what would be the easiest way to wire up DRL's in the high-beam position?
Thanks,
