headlight cleaning...

Hi all, headlight cleaning question.. I am wondering if its possible to clean the INSIDE of the headlights on a 91 Continental. Not the outside of the lense, but inside the assembly, specifically the reflector. One headlight is nice and shiny, other looks like inside of a blown light bulb (dark and nasty, not too reflective). it appears as tho a bulb may have broken inside the lens at some time...

Yea.. I was told that you have to take out the whole headlamp assembly then use a heatgun to remove the plastic front part fromt he whole assembly.. i never tried it myself.. so im not sure

well now i don,t have to clean mine any more the insurance company might buy me some new ones since i crashed today
