1995 Continental headlights were dim. I started with the 3m headlight restoration kit and was pleased with the results, but decided to replace bulbs anyway.

I read the Chilton manual that said it was a tough fit for your hand but could be done. I did the driver side by removing the air intake to make for more room behind the bulb. Different story on passenger side. I tried from the top, the bottom, had my daughter with small hands try but I could not find the angle to get the bulb out. So I decided I needed to pull the whole housing, not what Chilton said. Pulled the 2 pins straight out with pliers and all was perfect.

There was extra wire so the housing could be pulled almost all the way out and then disconnect the plug for the bulb. Replace, return to track, put pins back in. Left side using this method was less than 5 minutes.

I love how easy it is to change the bulbs on this car - by far the easiest of any I've ever owned thanks to those quick-release pins for the housings.
