Headlight Adjustment

Here are my dumb questions for the day: My headlights are way out of adjustment. The adjusters seemed to be bound up and one appears to be broken. Are there any tricks or easy ways to get them to work? Are new adjusters still available?It seems that I might strip the hex off of the adjusters if I force them. Which size/type socket/wrench fits best? Thanks, Woof.

Try spraying them down with a penetrating oil and let them sit for a day or two... I don't recall if the adjusters are available seperately, but they do pop in and out of the headlamp if the plastic isn't to brittle from age...
