head lights

So I have an extra set of actually nice looking gen 1 headlights. I want to pull them apart. I know the oven trick at 250 for ten or so minutes.

Buuuuut, My pops is not okay with plastic in the oven, kind of a safety freak and what not. So I have a hairdryer, it is softening the grey sealant petty nicely.

My question is where do I pull or pry a little to get them to start to separate other than obviously where the little tabs are.

Any one with any more tricks please let us know.

remove amber lenses and put in angel eyes

Yes the lsk is a good write up....you won't hurt anything prying anyway u can..... Go ahead and do the 3m resto kit ( with my write up ) while there out. Well worth it and then they'll look brand new. Glad to see you getting to up grade instead of repair.

Well I still have on repair as you all know my door but I have the door so it will be going to the body shop soon. It been sooooooooo nice to be able to enjoy driving my car.
