Has anyone used a Hide-A-Plate?

I put a want ad up last night, but while looking around, I spotted this:

They have a manual one for $42 shipped. It is going to cost me $40 plus the cost of painting it for a factory replacement. Opinions and experience please.

I have to admit it would come in handy, but I just want the clean front bumper. I'm not sure it will fit due to our wraparound aerodynamics. Thanks for the LS vid, mlara. I like the way he mounted it on there.

I have a magnet mounted on the back side of the bumper in the same locations as the bracket.

did you coat them with rubber or something to keep them from scratching the paint?

I might just go with the hide a plate system. The cost is about the same and it's a 5 minute job.
