Hardly any Air Conditioning, maybe bad DCCV?

Hey gutys, I have a 2006 LS and when I switch from heat to air conditioning, there is a very little difference in the temperature of the air that blows out of all of the vents. It is not cold at all and I know for a fact that the compressor is running under the hood. I looked recently online and I noticed that the dual climate control valves sound like a very common part to fail on these cars so do you think that is what most likely is wrong with the car?

I would say you have a bad DCCV. And do not replace it with aftermarket go with OEM or you will be changing it again. Here is a good price on one on amazon https://www.amazon.com/Motorcraft-Y...automotive&vehicleId=3&vehicleType=automotive

Amazon is the devil. Why not go to the dealer tomorrow? They will ofter price match or come really close. Support the local community and reduce your carbon foot print... just saying;)

That actually does not sound like a bad DCCV. A bad DCCV would give you very hot heated air out.
How do you "know for a fact that the compressor is running?"

If you can get a dealer to match amazon I would be amazed. Spend more money if you wish I am just telling you a good price for the same item. Maybe it's not bad like @joegr said but to me paying more for the same part is a bit silly to say the least. I understand that you don't care for amazon and I am not saying they are my favorite place by any means but if I can get the same item at a fraction of the price with the same warranty it would be stupid to pay more.
