GUESS WHAT ...I GOT MY LSC A NEW PRESENT THE YR,SHE WAS DUE ANYHOW, MY MECHANIC SAW THIS AND SAID YOU BETTER CHANGE THIS RIGHT NOW BEFORE YOU KILL USELF AND THE CAR...HE SAID THE METAL WAS COMMIN OUT TERRIBLY FROM THE INSIDE OF PASS SIDE TIRE ...ONCE THEY WERE UNMOUNTED AND BEING REPLACED WITH THE NEW RUBBERZ I SAW WHAT HE WAS TALKIN ABOUT ..MY EYES POPPED OUT OUT OF DISBELEIF..CANT BELIVE I WAS DRIVING LIKE THAT..NOT KNOWING..TO THINK OF IT..WHEN WAS THE TIME I POSTED MY PERELLIS UP ON HERE..IT WASNT THAT LONG FOR TIRE TO WEAR LIKE THAT. (I KNOW THE ALIGMENT WAS OUT OF WHACK FROM HOW THE DAMAGE THAT TOOK PLACE ON THEM..ANYHOW IM SAFE NOW GUYS

SO,A SET OF NEW RUBBERS WE GOT...KUMHO 'S 17"'R

CHECK UM OUT..SAME SIZE N ALL..MORE MEAT TO GRIP THE ROAD LIKE A CHAMP.

JUST A FEW MORE MINOR ADJUSTMENTS I HAVE TO DO REGARDING THE ALIGMENT WHICH I ALREADY DID THIS PAST SAT.
AT THIS TIME I HAVE A VIOLENT SHAKE..WHICH MY DASH IS MOVING ON PASS SIDE WHEN GOIN 65+ ON STREIGHT FLAT ROAD AND A STEERINGWHEEL SHAKE AT BRAKING..IM ASSUMING IT MY ROTORS ...MAYBE?..


QUESTION GUYZ..WHERE CAN I GO FOR NICE SET OF SLOTTED ROTORS AND A NICE PAIR OF REAR SHOCKS?MY SHOCKS IN THE REAR..I HAVE SOME BANGIN AROUND BACK THERE WHEN IM DRIVING N GOIN OVER BUMPS,BUT WHEN CAR IS SITTING AND I BOUNCE THE CAR NOTHING HAPPENDS..ANOTHER QUESTION..IM HEARING THAT SHOCK MOUNTS CAN BE PURCHASED SEPERATLY FROM THE ACTUAL SHOCKS THEMSELVES?IS THIS TRUE? WHERE CAN I GO,AND ARE THEY HIGH PERFORMANCE PARTS OR FORD PARTS?(I HAVE BOTH SHOCKS AND AIR RIDE ALL AROUND)HAS ANYONE PUT THEM ON UR MARKS AND HOW DID THEY STAND UP

Get your cross drilled/slotted rotors from http://www.r1concepts.com/,
as for your shocks, you can just get regular Monroe Sensatracks for a 97 T-bird but if you want something more sporty/aggressive get 03 Cobra coupe bilstein shocks from Max at Five Star Ford, they are pretty firm though.

I got a set of the new metal shock mounts off of ebay for $30.00 bucks or so & then picked up some t bird shocks at autozone. I allready looked up the part numbers & everything so I could get the right parts, Auto will hire anyone & yes I know... They suck! A bunch of people reuse the factory mount & burn off the old rubber, I preffer the new mounts though. Looks a little bit better to me.

Nice tires and wheels, happy to hear that they saw the problem before the old ones blew out!! I drove with a vibration and finall got annoyed enough to have it checked out and the rear tire had a huge bubble!! All of those tires were off the carbefore I left the shop!!
Those shock mounts are really inexpensive (not cheap!!) P/N F3LY-18197-A listing at $35.77 and your cost of $25.00 each!! The M-18125-R00 shock set that 98LSC refers to are $159.95 and cost you $115.00 and has the cobra mount rubbers so you still need the mounts...and they are a very rough (firm) ride. We do not have any slotted rotors for that car....sorry.
